As Palestinians stab, shoot, and drive cars into Israelis, two Palestinian UN-accredited non-governmental organizations are promoting "Palestinian society's resistance" at the UN Human Rights Council. The BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights and the Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights are UN-accredited NGOs and therefore entitled to submit written statements for consideration at the UN Human Rights Council. The NGOs' support of Palestinian "resistance" comes in a written statement to the Human Rights Council, which was circulated as an official UN document. It was submitted under the infamous agenda item 7, the permanent agenda item dedicated solely to the demonization of the Jewish state, which is scheduled for debate on June 19, 2017.
In the words of the statement:
"To continue and facilitate implementing policies of colonization, including population transfer, Israel also has developed a system of control and suppression of Palestinians in the oPt. By suppressing Palestinian resistance through excessive use of force, unlawful killings, collective punishment, widespread arrests and other measures seek to break Palestinian society's resistence [sic] to the implementation of Israel's colonization."
