Six separate trials are likely to be held. The executives include Trevor Flugge and Andrew Lindberg, respectively the ex-chairman and ex-MD of the wheat marketing group. None of the trials are likely to begin until 2009. In his inquiry into the oil-for-food kickback affair, Terence Cole advocated that criminal and civil charges be laid against 11 individuals at AWB. A taskforce is evaluating whether criminal charges are advisable.
