118 Nations Back Iran’s Ban on Nuke Plant Attacks August 26, 2009 Arutz Sheva Orignal Source: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/170087 (IsraelNN.com) In a letter submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), 118 nations endorsed Iran's plan to submit a resolution banning attacks on nuclear facilities at next month’s IAEA meeting, the AP reported. Revealed last week, the resolution will be kept general says Iran, despite the fact the move is clearly directed against Israel and the United States. Both nations have not ruled out a possible strike if international efforts fail to persuade Tehran to freeze its nuclear activities. While insisting its enrichment program is only for the purpose of generating fuel to produce nuclear energy, Iran has defied three sets of U.N. Security Council sanctions and resisted an IAEA probe into reports it was conducting experiments for a nuclear weapons program.
