Israel's deputy ambassador to the UN deplored the UN Security Council's lack of response to the recent rocket fire from Gaza onto southern Israel. 
 
We have not heard a single word of condemnation from the Security Council, deputy ambassador Chaim Waxman said in a letter to Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Security Council. Waxman lamented that no coordinated effort has come from the international community to end the attacks on Israeli towns. (AFP)
