Amendments to the draft resolution A/HRC/S25/L.1

Amendment 1
Add OP1bis 
Urges immediate and unconditional separation of Syrian opposition groups from Al Nusra Front and so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Daesh) and calls upon all States that can exercise influence on those groups to spare no effort in facilitating such separation;
	
	Add OP12bis 
Further expresses its support to the initiative of the Special Envoy to draw Al Nusra Front out of Aleppo and calls upon all parties concerned to exercise their influence to implement this initiative

Amendment 2
Add OP2bis 
Welcomes the steps to improve humanitarian situation in Aleppo, in particular the holding of humanitarian pause on the 20th  and 21st of October, 2016 and relevant unilateral ceasefire, while strongly condemning attempts by illegal armed groups to upset humanitarian evacuation from Aleppo
Add OP2ter
Further welcomes peace initiatives on Syria put forward at the talks in Lausanne, Switzerland on the 15th of October 2016, including the resumption of military consultations between concerned parties in Geneva

Amendment 3
Delete in particular Syrian authorities and its allies from OP1 
Delete in particular Syrian authorities and its supporters from OP3
Delete OP4 
		Delete and ending all bombardments of and military flights over Aleppo city, from OP9
Amendment 4
Add OP7bis 
Expresses its grave concern at the continued support for terrorists, in particular Al Nusra Front and so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Daesh), and other illegal armed groups in Syria from abroad and calls upon all countries and parties concerned to immediately cease any activities aimed at doing so.

Amendment 5
Delete PP2
Delete OP5
Remove ,noting the important role that the International Criminal Court can play in this regard from OP8
Replace events in Aleppo with activities of crimes committed by Al-Nusra Front and its allies in Aleppo as well as in other regions of Syria in the OP13
