Israeli army catches Palestinian terrorist with explosives belt in West Bank (ISRAEL INSIDER)

Israeli troops on Wednesday caught a Palestinian militant in the West Bank with an explosives belt strapped around his waist and ready for use, the army said. 

The militant had entered the industrial zone in the West Bank settlement of Barkan, the army said. Intelligence information led troops to the militant before he detonated the explosives, the army said. 

Israeli troops also killed a Palestinian militant during an arrest raid in a West Bank refugee camp, military and Palestinian officials said. 

The army said its forces surrounded a house and ordered people inside to leave. The militant was seen fleeing the building and shot, officials said. 

Palestinian security officials identified the dead man as Mahmoud Shaheen Haymour, a member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs´ Brigades, a violent group linked to President Mahmoud Abbas´ Fatah party. 

The incident occurred in a refugee camp near the West Bank town of Jericho.
