Secretary-General reiterates call for Syria to grant access to UN fact-finding mission

In response to journalists' questions, a UN spokesperson says Ban Ki-moon has taken note of information from the United States authorities regarding chemical weapons in Syria. Mr. Ban says while he takes the assessment seriously, the United Nations is not in a position to comment. He says senior advisers at UN Headquarters have been in contact with the US authorities on the latest developments.
