Joint Press Statement with the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic
July 26, 2013 By Ban Ki-moon United Nations http://www.un.org/sg/statements/index.asp?nid=6987 Following an invitation by the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic, the High Representative for Disarmament Affairs and the Head of the United Nations Investigation Mission visited Damascus on 24-25 July 2013. They met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss the work of the Mission. The discussions were thorough and productive and led to an agreement on the way forward.
