The High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Navanethem Pillay will deliver the opening statement at the launch. Other speakers include H.E. Dr. Hanns H. Schumacher, Permanent Representative of Germany to the Office of the United Nations and other organizations in Geneva and H.E. Mr. Alexey Borodavkin,Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Office of the United Nations and other organizations in Geneva. The statements will be followed by brief presentation on the database.
