Security Council Committee established pursuant
to resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the 
Democratic People’s Republic of Korea



		Note verbale dated 19 January 2007 from the Permanent Mission of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations addressed to the Chairman of the Committee


	The Permanent Mission of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chairman of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and has the honour, with reference to Security Council resolution 1718 (2006), to transmit the following information.
	Kyrgyzstan is fully implementing resolution 1718 (2006), including the embargo on the heavy weapons, luxury goods, and materials, equipment, goods and technology listed in documents S/2006/853, S/2006/815 and S/2006/814, as well as the travel restrictions, asset freeze and other measures provided for in the resolution. The competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan are guided in their work by the above-mentioned documents of the Security Council.
	As it receives more detailed information, the Permanent Mission of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations is ready to provide additional information to the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
