	The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chairman of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) and, with reference to the note verbale dated 1 November 2006, has the honour to submit the Indonesian national report (see annex).

NATIONAL REPORT

Implementation of Security Council Resolution 1718 (2006)

1.	The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has taken note of the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718 (2006).
2.	The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has informed the relevant agencies of Indonesia’s obligations under resolution 1718 (2006) and has subsequently convened an interagency meeting to finalize its report.
3.	The Government of the Republic of Indonesia is committed to taking necessary steps to implement the provision of operative paragraph 8 of UN Security Council Resolution 1718 (2006) in accordance with the relevant Indonesian law and regulations.
