Security Council Committee established pursuant to
resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the Democratic
People’s Republic of Korea



		Note verbale dated 16 November 2006 from the Permanent Mission of Belarus to the United Nations addressed to the Chairman of the Committee


	The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) and, in accordance with paragraph 11 of the resolution, has the honour to convey the following.
	The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus promptly informed all relevant national authorities about the measures that shall be taken in accordance with subparagraphs (a) (i), (a) (ii), (a) (iii), (b), (c) and (f) of paragraph 8 of resolution 1718 (2006).
	The lists of conventional arms, as defined for the purpose of the United Nations Register on Conventional Arms, as well as the lists of items, materials, equipment, goods and technology, determined by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006), that could contribute to nuclear-related programmes or programmes related to ballistic missiles or other weapons of mass destruction are incorporated into the national export controls legislation.
	The Belarussian side is ready to take the necessary measures to ensure proper implementation of subparagraphs (d) and (e) of paragraph 8 of the resolution upon receiving the relevant lists of persons or entities from the Security Council or the sanctions Committee.
