Resolution adopted by the Human Rights Council on June 20, 2007 without a vote. 5/… Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the follow-up to the report of the Commission of Inquiry on Lebanon The Human Rights Council, Recalling its resolution S-2/1 of 11 August 2006 on “The gave situation of human rights in Lebanon caused by Israeli military operations”, Recalling also its resolution 3/3 of 8 December 2006 which requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to consult with the Government of Lebanon on the report of the Commission on Inquiry and its findings and on the relevant recommendations contained therein, Having considered the report of the factual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (A/HRC/5/9), 1. Takes note with satisfaction of the factual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (A/HRC/5/9); 2. Requests the High Commissioner to extend support to the Government of Lebanon’s activities and programmes in particular those consistent with her report. ----- * Non-member States of the Human Rights Council.
