Annex to the identical letters dated 19 June 2007 from the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council Israeli violations, acts of aggression and other activities from 8 to 15 June 2007, inclusive Air violations On 9 June 2007, between 1233 and 1630 hours, an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over `Alma al-Sha`b, circled over the South, then left over Naqurah. On 10 June 2007, between 0810 and 1210 hours, an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over the sea off Tyre, circled over the South, then left over `Alma al-Sha`b. On 12 June 2007: – Between 1046 and 1145 hours two Israeli enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace, entering over Kafr Kila, proceeded north as far as Tripoli, circled over the regions of Tripoli, the South and the Bekaa, then left over the sea off Tripoli; – Between 1155 and 1205 hours two Israeli enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace, entering over the sea off Beirut heading south, then left over `Alma al-Sha`b; – Between 1214 and 1530 hours an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over `Alma al-Sha`b heading north, circled between Riyaq and Baalbek, then left over `Alma al-Sha`b; – Between 1450 and 1615 hours two Israeli enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace, entering over the Shab`a Farms heading north, circled over the regions of the Western Bekaa, Beirut, the North and the South, then left over `Alma al-Sha`b; – Between 1849 and 2225 hours an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over the sea off Naqurah, circled over the South, then left over `Alma al-Sha`b; On 13 June 2007: – Ten Israeli enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace and circled over the areas of Hirmil, Al-Arz (the Cedars) and Shikka, as follows: at 1104 hours 4 planes entered over Naqurah, then left over the sea off Naqurah at 1135 hours; two planes entered over Rumaysh, then left over the sea off Tripoli at 1125 hours; two planes entered over the sea off Byblos (Jubayl), then left over the sea off Naqurah at 1155 hours; at 1110 hours two planes entered over the sea off Byblos (Jubayl), then left over the sea off Naqurah at 1135 hours; – Between 1137 and 1520 hours an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over Naqurah, circled over the Riyaq region, then left over Naqurah; – At 2209 hours on an Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace, entering over the sea off Tyre and heading in the direction of Beirut, circled over Beirut and the adjacent sea, then left over Naqurah at 0125 hours on 14 June 2007. On 14 June 2007, at 1006 hours, two Israeli enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace, entering over `Alma al-Sha`b, and were followed by two more at 1010 hours. The four aircraft circled over all the regions of Lebanon, then left over the sea off Naqurah at 1125 hours. Sea violations None. Acts of aggression in the field On 9 June 2007: – Between 1640 and 1650 hours Israeli enemy forces fired a number of rounds of light- and medium-weapons fire from the Radar position (occupied Shab`a Farms) at the area around the position; – Between 2130 and 2230 hours Israeli enemy forces shined searchlights at the gardens surrounding the village of Mari from their position in the occupied village of Ghajar. On 10 June 2007, at 1259 hours, as elements of the Israeli enemy were strafing the area around their position at Bayad (opposite Blida), a number of bullets fell inside Lebanese territory, which resulted in the outbreak of a fire in the Wadi alNabi Shu`ayb area outside the village of Blida that spread to 15 dunams of dry grass. Civil defence managed to extinguish it by 1515 hours. Other Israeli activities On 10 June 2007, between 1500 and 1945 hours, a crane belonging to the Israeli enemy erected an aerial tower at the Ruwaysat al-Alam position within the occupied Shab`a Farms.
