Annex to the identical letters dated 2 October 2007 from the Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council
Subject: Israeli violations, acts of aggression and other activities from 15 to 23 September 2007 Air violations On 15 September 2007, between 0810 hours and 2120 hours, an enemy Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over Rumaysh in a northerly direction as far as Markaba and circled over areas of the South. It then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. Between 1135 hours and 1315 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila in a northerly direction as far as Shikka and the Bekaa. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. On 16 September 2007, between 1005 hours and 1135 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila and circled over the South, Shikka and al-Harmal. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. On 17 September 2007, between 1405 hours and 1443 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila and circled over regions of the South, the Bekaa and Shikka. They then departed over the sea off Tripoli. Between 1500 hours and 1508 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off Beirut. They departed over Rumaysh. Between 1500 hours and 2300 hours, an enemy Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off Sidon and circled between Rayaq and Ba`albek. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. On 18 September 2007, between 1030 hours and 1105 hours, four Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over al-Naqurah and circled over regions of the South. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. Between 1405 hours and 1540 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Dayr Mimas as far as the Bekaa, and then headed north and circled over areas of the South, the Bekaa, the North and Beirut. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. Between 2100 hours and 2125 hours, two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over al-Naqurah in a northerly direction as far as Jubayl and returned in a southerly direction. They then departed over Rumaysh. Between 2135 hours and 2300 hours, two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over al-Naqurah in a northerly direction as far as Khaldah and circled over the South. They then departed over Rumaysh. On 19 September 2007, between 1105 hours and 1230 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila and circled over all regions of Lebanon. They then departed over Rumaysh.

On 20 September 2007, between 1315 hours and 1355 hours, two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila and circled over Shikka, the Bekaa and the South. They then departed over Kafr Kila. Between 2030 hours and 2335 hours, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off Tyre and circled between Sidon and Tyre. It then departed over the sea off al-Naqurah. On 21 September 2007, between 0922 hours and 0935 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Rumaysh in a northerly direction as far as Tripoli. They then departed over the sea off Tripoli. Between 0945 hours and 1045 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off Shikka in an easterly direction, and circled between Shikka, al-Arz, Beirut, the South and the Bekaa. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. Between 1259 hours and 1605 hours, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off al-Naqurah and circled between Sidon and al-Naqurah. It then departed over the sea off al-Naqurah. On 23 September 2007, between 0009 hours and 0155 hours, two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off al-Naqurah as far as Juniyah and circled between Beirut and the South. They then departed over al-Naqurah. Between 0130 hours and 0700 hours, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off al-Naqurah and circled between Tyre and al-Naqurah. It then departed over the sea off al-Naqurah. Between 1200 hours and 1300 hours, two enemy Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Kafr Kila and circled between the North and the South. They then departed over `Alma al-Sha`b. Sea violations None reported. Acts of aggression in the field Enemy Israeli forces, from their position at Zarit gate, trained a searchlight in the direction of the town of Marwahin on the following dates: 15 September 2007 at 2310 hours, 19 September 2007 at 0050 hours, 20 September 2007 at 2310 hours, and 21 September 2007 at 2230 hours. On 23 September 2007, between 1045 hours and 1125 hours, enemy Israeli forces fired several rounds of medium-machine-gun fire from their Radar position (opposite Shab`a) in the direction of the area surrounding the position.
