Add New PP (7 bis)

Alarmed at the recent instances of deliberate stereotyping of religions, their adherents and prophets in the media and by political parties and groups in some societies

Replace existing OP-8 with following

Emphasizes that respect for and protection of all religions and beliefs, consistent with international law and national legislations, is a substantial element conducive for the exercise of full enjoyment by all of the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

Delete in the last phrase “including the right to change one’s religion or belief”.
