Report of the Peacebuilding Commission



		Letter dated 18 October 2007 from the Permanent Representative of Japan to the United Nations addressed to the President of the General Assembly


	In my capacity as the Chairman of the Peacebuilding Commission, I have been mandated by the States members of the Organizational Committee of the Commission to request that item 10 of the agenda of the sixty-second session of the General Assembly, entitled “Report of the Peacebuilding Commission”, be also allocated to the Fifth Committee for the sole purpose of considering the question of financing field missions of the Peacebuilding Commission, as noted in paragraph 43 of the report of the Commission on its first session (A/62/137-S/2007/458).
