	The General Assembly,
	Having considered the recommendations contained in the report of the Human Rights Council for the period from 10 September 2007 to 24 September 2008, 
	Takes note of the report of the Human Rights Council,1 and endorses the recommendations contained therein.

	*	On behalf of the States Members of the United Nations that are members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries.
	**	On behalf of the States Members of the United Nations that are members of the Group of African States.
