FM Livni welcomes US non-participation in Durban 2

FM Tzipi Livni praised the United States' decision not to participate in the second Durban conference.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni welcomed the decision by the United States not to participate in the Durban Review Conference, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland on 20-24 April 2009:
Durban 2 is a cynical conference whose sole purpose is blatant antisemitism and anti-Israeli sentiment disguised as a battle against racism. The decision of the United States government is a courageous and true reflection of the values held by the leader of the free world and should show the way to other countries who share those values.
