(Signed) Nawaf Salam Ambassador Permanent Representative 10-56817 (E) 061010 061010 *1056817* A/65/490 S/2010/506 Annex to the identical letters dated 1 October 2010 from the Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council Lebanese Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants At 1935 hours on 20 September 2010, Israeli enemy forces opposite the Lebanese Army Tall Ghaba`in position on the outskirts of Duhaira fired some 12 rounds over Lebanese territory in the direction of soldiers who were fortifying the position. That act of aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty, international law and Security Council resolution 1701 (2006), and a threat to international peace and security. 2 10-56817
