Closure of the work of the Commission The Commission on Human Rights, Recalling General Assembly resolution 60/251 of 15 March 2006, which created the Human Rights Council, and Economic and Social Council resolution 2006/2 of 22 March 2006, 1. 2. Takes note of General Assembly resolution 60/251 of 15 March 2006; Refers, accordingly, all reports to the Human Rights Council for further consideration at its first session in June 2006 (see annex); 3. Expresses its appreciation to all those who contributed to the promotion and protection of human rights during its 60 years of existence; 4. Decides to conclude its work in accordance with General Assembly resolution 60/251 of 15 March 2006 and Economic and Social Council resolution 2006/2 of 22 March 2006.
