Annex to the identical letters dated 2 October 2006 from the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General and to the President of the Security Council Israeli violations and acts of aggression against Lebanon from 0800 hours on 28 September 2006 to 0800 hours on 29 September 2006 Air violations There were three air violations by enemy Israeli warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft reported: At 1105 hours, a reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over Rmaich in a northerly direction and circled over the southern areas. It left Lebanese airspace at 1400 hours over Aalma al-Chaab. At 1200 hours, two warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over Shab`a farmlands in a northerly direction and circled over the Dahr al-Baidar, South, Beirut and Jounie regions. They left Lebanese airspace at 1246 hours over Al-Naqoura. At 1728 hours, an enemy Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the sea off Tyre in an easterly direction and circled over the southern areas. It left Lebanese airspace at 2223 hours over Al-Naqoura. Land violations At 1415 hours in Marouahine, an enemy Israeli forces group consisting of three tanks and a Hummer jeep advanced and set up a roadblock at the Marouahine-Tarbikha-Ramiye triangle. They proceeded to check the identity papers of passers-by. They left at 1510 hours. Injuries resulting from mines, cluster bombs and unexploded ordnance At 1000 hours in the town of Al-Qlaiaa/Marjaayoun, while Dawud Marun was working in his field, a cluster bomb exploded near him, resulting in injury to his left foot and the severing of one of his fingers (his condition is not serious). At 1530 hours in the town of Rmaich, while a Corps of Engineers patrol was working on removing an 81 mm (phosphorus) mortar shell that was stuck in the ground, it ignited, resulting in second degree burns to Private Faraj `Awad (S-606) in his right palm.
