Mr. Chairman,

On the Programme of Work of the first resumed session of the Fifth Committee, document AlC.5l60lL.30, Item 128: Scale of assessments the apportionmentof the expensesof the for United Nations,report A1601140 Corr.1,I have the honourto speakon behalf of all successor & statesof the former SFRY, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina,Republic of Croatia, Republic of Macedonia, Serbiaand Montenegroand my own country Slovenia.

Mr. Chairman,

We, the five successor statesof the Socialist FederalRepublic of Yugoslavia,have thoroughly studiedthe Report of the Secretary-General the Unpaid Assessed on Contributionsof the Former Yugoslavia dated 16 September 2005 and its Corrigendum dated 27 February 2006 and find them as insufficient and inappropriatebasis for the Fifth Committee's deliberations.Therefore we requestthe Secretary-General submit a revisedreport that will take into accountour views to expressedin our letter dated 9 August 2005 and also concerns we have raised in our further particularlyin December2005. discussion with IIN Secretariat,
